003 Judges 3:1-31 (Judges Studies)

In chapter three, we actually begin the account of the Judges with the first three: Othniel, Ehud and Shamgar.

• Othniel is notable as the newphew of Caleb, the great man we have already read so much about...
• Ehud will be notable for using a dagger to kill a morbidly obese man and then lead Israel into a successful rebellion against the Moabites.
And...
• Shamgar whose chosen weapon was an ox goad (but he only gets one verse of mention in this chapter).
