Matthew 3 & 4 : John the Baptist Announces Jesus

John preaches the coming of the LORD, and baptizes those who are willing to repent of their sins. He also baptizes Jesus, after a bit of protest. Jesus is then tempted in the wilderness and emerges into a powerful ministry that includes preaching repentance, calling specific disciples and drawing large crowds of people as he heals lots of people of all kinds of diseases.
