Freakshow - The Dead Rockstars Demo

This is the final song on the "Dead Rockstars" demo I recorded. It's entitled "The Freak Show" and it's loosely based on my early life as a musician, and reminiscing on the various bands I've been in over the years.

My old band, well it held it's own.
But, we weren't going nowhere.
Doin' covers didn't make any sense.
And the radio just didn't care!

And it was a freak show.
We were doin' things that we didn't know.
Would lead to the places where crazy goes.
And dude - it was the end of line...

This old house filled with bad memories.
Let's take the pictures from the wall.
We'll pack all these things kid - We'll move off grid.

Looking back on those days and wild nights.
There was something in the air.
It was both the best and worst of things.
But, yo we didn't seem to care.

And it was a freak show.
