Apatros Review Ep-0137: Kill Switch [2008]

AR-0137: Another of Steven Seagal's infamous 2000s DTV [direct-to-video] B-films, this one being of the late 2000s trend [after the spectacular failure of films like "Attack Force" & "Flight of Fury"] to feature Seagal in more [but not completely] realistic scenarios than his meme-worthy earlier work.

That is not to say movies like "Kill Switch" aren't completely meme-phobic, as this film has a whole heap of hysterical missteps that will prove amusing - key in point the shot early on of one of Seagal's protagonist's enemies getting tossed through a second-storey window and thanks to some legendarily bad editing the guy flies through the window so many times you'd swear he was in a particularly nasty karmic time loop. Not a particularly good movie, but not entirely worthless...

Oh, and while "Kill Switch" was primarily issued DTV, this film saw a theatrical release in the United Arab Emirates! What the bloody heck?

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
