GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR AND PRECIOUS FRIENDS!!!

Something about this passage of scripture this morning, brought back some interesting memories to me of moments where I thought that the more I was doing for God, the more God would be pleased with me, and God used a one week stay in the hospital to show me that that was a bunch of bunk. That it's not about how many things I'm doing for Him (quantity), but in WHAT I'm doing for Him (quality) that matters. I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional have really challenged my heart, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through them too.

When have you been too busy to be faithful and fruitful?

How can you find rest in Jesus to accomplish what He wants you to do?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me on this very issue, from His Word this morning, as well as in other passages of scripture, through this blog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you really listen to what I have to say on it. I pray that you see just how important it is to serve God by being willing to sit and rest at His feet, and not be focused on your spiritual To Do List. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I truly pray that you realize that there is a difference between business and fruitfulness, and that you can learn to be fruitful for Christ by being willing to sit at his feet. That when you try to do 50 bazillion things for the Lord, thinking he's going to notice you more, it's only going to physically burn you out, and God does not want that for you. I encourage you to take time to slow down and spend time with Christ rather than your spiritual To Do List, and watch how God will energize and bless you for it. To please help you replace the business with being still so that you could know that God is God and that your life can truly be fruitful.
