Russian Armored Assault on Chasovy Yar Ends in Channel Crossing Chaos

On the morning of March 6, Russian forces attempted a breakthrough with an armored column toward Ukrainian positions. More than two dozen vehicles, mostly airborne combat vehicles, moved one after another toward Chasovy Yar positions. The footage shows the Russian armored assault with significant forces in Chasovy Yar — operational control shots. Advancing through the Western district while under fire from the Ukrainian side. Russian forces advanced over 700 meters, expanding their controlled areas toward Mykolaivka. However, at some point, the Russian column got stuck in a 'traffic jam' caused by damaged vehicles blocking the channel crossing, allowing Ukrainian forces to concentrate their attacks on Russian units. According to Ukrainian reports, 11 vehicles were destroyed, five were damaged, and they claim 33 Russian soldiers killed or wounded. While these numbers are likely exaggerated, the video clearly indicates poor organization of the assault
