Ukraine Deploys FPV Drones Launched from Unmanned Boats in the Black Sea

The enemy has started using FPV drones launched from unmanned boats in the Black Sea. Russian forces have learned how to counteract the kamikaze boats, so they are disappearing from the Ukrainian arsenal. Instead, the enemy is now using these unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) as drone launch platforms. One recently published video shows what such a boat looks like now. It has drone containers installed, is operated via a rotating camera and Starlink antenna. The boat also relays signals for controlling FPV drones. Since there’s no need to approach Russian ships closely, internal engines were replaced with cheaper outboard motors, which make the vessel highly visible in the infrared spectrum. These drones are used to attack targets on Crimea's coastline and ships.
