Episode 32 - Matthew 25 : 31-46 - The Judgment of the Nations

For the first Sunday in Lent, we will be doing a double-header bible reading. So there is another episode that will be released later on today.

In this powerful reading from Matthew 25 verses 31-46, Jesus describes the Final Judgment, where He, the Son of Man, will separate people as a shepherd separates sheep from goats. The "sheep"—those who showed kindness, compassion, and care for the needy—are welcomed into the Kingdom of God. Meanwhile, the "goats", who ignored the suffering of others, are sent away.
The "sheep" (righteous) are those who showed kindness and cared for others, representing those who serve Christ by serving those in need.
The "goats" (unrighteous) are those who ignored the needs of others, representing those who failed to live out love and service.

This passage teaches that our faith must be lived out through action. Jesus identifies Himself with the least of these—the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the sick, and the imprisoned. He makes it clear that when we serve others, we are serving Him. Conversely, ignoring those in need is rejecting Him.

This message is incredibly relevant in today's world. With poverty, homelessness, and suffering all around us, Jesus calls us to be His hands and feet—caring for those in need, showing love, and acting with compassion. Whether through volunteering, donating, or simply being present for those who are struggling, this passage challenges us to live out our faith through service.

The message emphasizes that acts of mercy and kindness toward the "least" (the needy, the vulnerable) are seen as acts done for Jesus himself.
