Ray Bonecrusher’s Appearance on The Unknown Podcast

On a recent episode of The Unknown Podcast, co-hosts Richard Luthmann and Michael Volpe sat down with Ray Bonecrusher to discuss the ongoing legal assault by YouTuber Jeremy Hales. Bonecrusher, a vocal critic of Hales, is now facing a frivolous lawsuit alongside others who have dared to challenge the YouTube personality. The discussion focused on Hales’ bullying tactics, his pattern of legal harassment, and his growing reputation for anti-Semitic rhetoric.

The episode opened with Bonecrusher explaining how he initially got involved in the controversy. He described Hales as a narcissistic YouTuber who built his channel, What The Hales, on storage auctions but later pivoted to legal drama and personal feuds to increase engagement and profits. According to Bonecrusher, Hales thrives on conflict, using legal threats to silence critics while monetizing the drama for his audience.

Volpe pointed out that Hales' defamation lawsuit is riddled with legal absurdities. “This is one of the most frivolous lawsuits I’ve ever seen,” he stated. The complaint relies heavily on private text messages, online comments, and vague accusations that fail to meet the legal standard for defamation. Luthmann, a former attorney, agreed, adding that Hales’ shyster lawyer, Randy Shochet, is “making a mockery of the justice system” by filing such a legally baseless case.

A significant portion of the conversation focused on Hales’ blatant anti-Semitism. He has repeatedly referred to Jewish attorney Bruce Matzkin as “Deuce Foreskin,” an offensive slur tied to Jewish circumcision practices. Rabbi Jacob Bellinsky previously condemned Hales’ rhetoric, stating, “Foreskin is directly tied to circumcision, a sacred part of the Jewish Covenant with God. To mock this is to participate in a long history of anti-Semitic dehumanization.”

Volpe, who is Jewish, echoed this sentiment: “Jeremy Hales has been told repeatedly by Jewish people that this is anti-Semitic. His refusal to stop means he is doing it on purpose.” Bonecrusher agreed, noting that Hales has a documented history of hateful comments, including anti-LGBTQ rhetoric.

The podcast also exposed Hales’ cult-like following, which includes sycophants Megan Fox and ThatUmbrellaGuy (TUG). Luthmann described them as “spineless enablers” who parrot Hales’ narrative and attack anyone who questions him. Bonecrusher added that many of Hales’ former allies who tried to leave his orbit ended up facing threats, harassment, or lawsuits. “You don’t just leave Hales. It’s blood in, blood out,” he said.

Luthmann argued that Rule 11 sanctions should be imposed against Shochet for filing such an obviously frivolous lawsuit. “The federal courts should not be tolerating this nonsense,” he said. Volpe suggested that Hales’ real goal isn’t to win the lawsuit but to financially drain his critics into silence. “He said it himself—he doesn’t care about winning. He just wants to bankrupt his enemies,” Volpe explained.
