73 or 66 or 58?

Just how many books should there be in your Bible? The focus, of course, is on the Old Testament. Some say (all Catholic orthodoxies and Ethiopian Jews agree on) 46 Old Testament; others mostly the Protestant faith, say 39 Old. All Christians, I believe, agree on 27 New. But if you go by the folks that say those extra seven books the Catholics include are not inspired by God because they aren't mentioned in the New Testament, then you have to cut it down to 31 Old, because there are eight other books in the Old Testament, such as Song of Songs, that are not quoted in the new. So, who's decision should it be? If you watch, it may help you come to your own conclusion.
