Why do Christians FAST on Wednesdays and Fridays? | Sam Shamoun

Sam Shamoun also known as Shamounian Christian Apologist goes over why do Christians Specifically Catholic and Orthodox and Orietental Orthodox fast on Wednesdays and Fridays since it isn’t in scripture for things like Ash Wednesday . But According to scripture the 40 days Jesus fasted in the wilderness is what we would do and in the didache a 1st century document written during the time of the apostles of how the church is handled we see the views they had about confession and praying but for fasting it says christians did it during Wednesdays and Fridays showing that this was believed and practiced by all christians from the views the apostles had and passed it down to their successors known as the church fathers
