(As always, Pepe Escobar helps us understand the dynamics between the US, Europe, EU, UK, Ukraine & Russia with respect to ending the war in Ukraine. Neither JD Vance nor Trump can admit that it was the US who initiated this proxy war in Ukraine against Russia. The US was involved in the 2014 Maidan Revolution in Kyiv, with Victoria Nuland & others from the US State Department. Of course the Russians are fully aware of all of this.

Trump's objective is to focus on domestic policy, instead of foreign policy. The Ukraine war can't be won by NATO, which is led by the US, so Trump is trying to find a way out without admitting our long term involvement that even predates 2014. Both Trump & Putin know that Zelensky must be removed somehow to find peace.

Europe wanting a European Army is a total joke, especially when you examine the capabilities of their individual failing militaries & their failing economies. The US finances almost 50% of NATO and supplies most of their military equipment. Trump sees most of Europe as a bunch of losers.

So far, Ukraine & NATO are not interested in peace and want to continue fighting a war that they have already lost. If Trump can't find a way to bring Ukraine to the peace table & can't find a way to agree to the Russian demands, he is likely to walk away and let the Russians finish the job. — RAD)
