Hiking bridge remains closed

A suspension bridge over the Manistee River is still closed after four months of construction. The Little Mac hiking bridge closed November 6th for four weeks of repairs. The 246-foot-long bridge connects to the North County Trail. Without it, hikers can’t complete the 20-mile loop over the river. No word on when it will reopen. David Barr Michigan News Source.
