This Christian song is the bluegrass version of Your Are My Sunshine (v8). John 8:12 says: "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'" This song celebrates the unique nation of our personal relationship with Jesus. He is the King Of The Universe - omnipotent - and yet He is our friend.
