In the Sudzhansky District of the Kursk Region, units of the 51st Guards Airborne Regiment of the 106th Guards Airborne Division, with the support of aviation and artillery fire, continued to drive the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of the border areas of the Kursk Region, liberating the settlement of Lebedevka.

During reconnaissance operations and additional reconnaissance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions from the air, the paratroopers uncovered the enemy's defense system, main strongholds and fire weapons in the settlement of Lebedevka and on its approaches. The artillery and strike UAVs of the unit suppressed the firing positions of the Ukrainian artillery and destroyed the uncovered command posts. Attack aircraft struck fortified positions and fortifications where Ukrainian Armed Forces militants were hiding.

Having demoralized the enemy with precise strikes on command posts, paratroopers stormed the settlement from several directions. UAV operators accompanied the assault units from the air and warned about newly discovered Ukrainian Armed Forces fire weapons and mining of the advance routes. Airborne assault groups, using the entire arsenal of small arms, captured the settlement. Some of the militants laid down their arms and surrendered. As a sign of the liberation of the settlement of Lebedevka from Ukrainian formations, the flags of the Russian Federation and the Airborne Forces were installed on the memorial to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, in the center of the village.
