D.C. (Dist. of Criminals), March 10, 2025 — Senator Josh Hawley condemned the left’s escalating attacks on Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk, calling out the hypocrisy of environmental activists who once championed electric vehicles but are now setting them on fire.

Appearing on Jesse Watters Primetime, Hawley addressed the recent wave of arson targeting Tesla Cybertrucks, linking the destruction to broader left-wing radicalism. “Just a year ago, they were all driving EVs and touting their moral virtue for doing so. And now they’re burning down the dealerships and disrupting the State of the Union. These people are weird.”

Musk’s Response & Government Silence
Musk and his company have yet to receive a direct response from the Biden administration regarding the attacks. Instead, Tesla critics in Washington have shifted their focus to criticizing Musk’s involvement in government discussions.

Hawley warned that these incidents highlight the left’s true priorities: “If they actually cared about lowering the Earth’s temperature, they wouldn’t be setting electric cars on fire.”
