2 Cor 1 & 2 - …the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge; what does that mean? 2017

2 Cor 1:22
who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.
He said “I will put My Spirit within them and cause them to walk in My laws. statutes and ordinances”. If the Spirit is in us, we will walk in obedience to Torah. It’s a pledge, a pledge to what? The resurrection, you will be a part of the resurrection. It’s a pledge to His people.
Ezek 36:27 “And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.
