Rough Country 2" leveling shock install - 2008 Yukon XL

In this video we install new Rough Country 2" leveling/ lift shocks in the front of our 2008 GMC Yukon XL. The previous owner installed a beefier tire which tended to rub slightly when backing up at full turn. We needed new shocks anyways so we figured why not kill 2 birds with one stone and get a nice looking leveled look and new shocks at the same time while also hoping to get rid of the tire rub with the extra height in the front.

While I am growing in my mechanical skills, I am not a professional. For a DIY project, I would rate this as a medium to hard difficulty level of project. The process would be the same for any similar year of Suburban and chevy/ GMC pickup truck.

The venom tires have been great after driving it for over a year. I'm pleasantly surprised for Amazon tires.
