Day 1: Scrapped It All, Fed on Blues, Fooled ‘Em

Welcome to my Microtopia Let’s Play! In this episode, we’re diving into the brand-new automation and colony sim from Cordyceps Collective, released on February 18, 2025, and published by Goblinz Publishing. I’m taking on the role of a robotic ant hive mind, building an empire of tiny workers in a quirky sci-fi world of electronic junk. Watch me fumble, learn, and (hopefully) triumph as we set up pheromone trails, gather resources, and grow our colony from scratch!

In this playthrough, expect plenty of trial-and-error as I figure out how to optimize supply chains, unlock new ant upgrades, and keep the queen happy. Will my ants become an efficient machine, or will chaos reign? Stick around to find out! We’ll explore the game’s colorful biomes, tackle some of its 80 objectives, and maybe even send a young queen on her first nuptial flight.
