Jon Favreau Rumored to be Working on a Kingdom Hearts Series!

Jon Favreau is being given the keys to the castle at Disney with the recent announcement of him working on an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit series for Disney+, moments after it was also suggested all Disney long form animation was being scrapped. It could be a test to see if he has the creative chops to take over Lucasfilm when Kathleen Kennedy eventually leaves, but time will tell.

The other and more insane rumor is that Favreau is also looking at bringing one of the most complex and convoluted gaming series to the small screen in the form of a Kingdom Hearts series. It's an insane proposition that would require so much care and attention to get right and in all honesty, as someone who has played nearly every game in the series, it's better left alone than worked on by someone who lost the plot with a space bounty hunter.
