Urgent Search Underway for Missing College Student Sudiksha Konanki in Dominican Republic
The FBI has joined local authorities in the Dominican Republic to search for 20-year-old University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki, who disappeared during a spring break trip in Punta Cana. She was last seen on March 6, 2025, near the beach of the Riu República Hotel. Surveillance footage shows her leaving the hotel lobby around 4:15 a.m. with a man and two women. Her friends returned to the hotel around 5:55 a.m., but Sudiksha did not. Extensive search efforts, including drones and helicopters, have yet to locate her. Authorities are investigating all possibilities, including foul play.
