Do our elected representatives know and follow the Arkansas Constitution? It’s the duty of the people of Arkansas to not only have oversight of our representatives but also to hold them responsible for adherence to the state constitution. How can we do that if we don’t know the constitution ourselves? This series on the Arkansas Constitution covers not only the 1874 constitution itself, but also the amendments that apply to each article as well as noteworthy court cases.
