Ken Rosenberg is in full panic mode over the failed drug deal, fearing Sonny Forelli’s wrath. Tommy Vercetti, however, keeps a cool head and demands answers. Ken suggests attending a high-profile yacht party hosted by Colonel Cortez, the man who arranged the deal. But first, Tommy needs a wardrobe upgrade, so he reluctantly picks up a new suit at Rafael’s.

Arriving at Cortez’s lavish party, Tommy meets Vice City’s biggest players, including Ricardo Diaz, a loud and influential drug lord. Cortez assures Tommy that he’s looking into the botched deal but needs time. Meanwhile, Cortez’s daughter, Mercedes, takes an interest in Tommy and asks him to drive her to the Pole Position Club. Their flirtatious conversation hints at further encounters, and as Mercedes disappears inside, Tommy is left with more questions than answers.
