Parasite Eve II OST - Distorted Evolution

Parasite Eve II follows Aya Brea, a former NYPD officer now working for MIST, a government agency that hunts Neo-Mitochondrial Creatures (NMCs). Two years after the events in New York, she is sent to investigate a violent outbreak at Akropolis Tower in Los Angeles, where she encounters powerful evolved NMCs and a strange humanoid creature. After neutralizing the threat, she is dispatched to Dryfield, a remote desert town, to track down more NMC activity.

In Dryfield, Aya discovers that the town has been overrun by monstrous creatures and meets Kyle Madigan, a mysterious private investigator. As she delves deeper, she learns of a secret underground facility connected to the government, where illegal experiments involving mitochondria and human hybrids have been conducted.

The facility, operated by an organization known as the ANMC project, seeks to artificially accelerate evolution by fusing humans with NMCs. Aya finds a young girl named Eve, a clone with a special connection to Aya’s own mitochondrial powers. The situation escalates as she learns that the facility's research was meant to create a new superior race, with the girl, Eve, serving as a key component in their plans. Betrayals and revelations unfold as Kyle’s true motives remain unclear.

The project’s leader, No. 9, an enhanced ANMC, intends to use Eve to trigger humanity’s forced evolution. Aya battles against increasingly dangerous bioengineered horrors, ultimately confronting the final experiment, a grotesque being designed to surpass human limits.

With the facility collapsing and Eve’s fate hanging in the balance, Aya and Kyle escape just in time. Afterward, Aya takes Eve under her care, offering her a new life free from the horrors of the experiments. The game ends with lingering questions about Kyle’s true allegiance, but Aya finds solace in protecting Eve, ensuring she does not become a pawn in another twisted scientific agenda.
