Verse 1:
The heart of God was filled with much grief,
When he saw the corruption of humanity,
For they were all sown with the seed of corruption.
But Noah found grace in the Lord's eyes,
The only pure stock of Adam left alive,
And told him of the flood that he would send,
To wipe out all of the corrupt flesh on the earth.

Verse 2:
Oh, he built an ark,
And gathered every creature both near and far,
Of God's original creation,
So He sent a great flood to destroy mankind.
The rains came down for 40 days and nights,
And every living thing upon earth died,
Save all those who were upon the ark inside.

When sometime were disobedient, wherein the longsuffering of God,
Awaited in the days of Noah while the ark was a preparing,
Wherein few, that is; eight souls were saved by water.
