New speed limit in Custer

If you drive through Mason County on US 10, be aware of a change in speed limits in the Village of Custer. The speed limit was changed Monday from 55 to 35 around Mason County Eastern School. The reduced speed limit will coincide with the times that kids are coming or leaving school. New speed limit signs were already installed by MDOT in anticipation of the change.
