The Best Scam Email I’ve Received

Not gonna lie, I almost fell for this scam.

I get emails all day, every day: “Dear Influencer, we love your channel!”

Really?

Have you SEEN my channel?

I’m an equal opportunity offender.

MAGA morons hate me, because I point out they’re morons; liberals don’t like me, because I point out the fact they’re feckless idiots that fight the wrong battles.

(Although, that seems to be changing… God bless AOC, Mayor Pete, and Gavin Newsom for finally getting on the right side of pronouns, and the culture war over “woke” politics.)

Anyway, I’m constantly being asked to peddle garbage.

Part of me thinks I should just take their money, but then I remember: Oh, right… I’d have to make a video, shilling for them. I don’t want that crap on my channel.

Which brings us to the email described in this video (or, reel, or short, or any other buzzword that will help the algorithm put this into feeds): Hey! You just use our music, and will kickback royalties!

Well, that certainly seems easy enough, right?

Wrong.

Who, again, is paying those royalties?

Oh, right: me.

So… yeah.

Nice try, scammers.
