An important video about the truly terrifying extent of control of everything in our lives that is inevitable if we passively allow cashless, digital-only money to prevail.

To those who just shrug, or say “Don’t be daft, THAT isn’t going to happen”, I have one question.

How can be 100% sure that no future administration won’t exploit such an inviting situation in order to control us for personal, monetary gain or in response to threats?

Answer: you cannot be sure.

What are you going to do if, having taken no steps to protect yourself, governments do routinely what Canada did to the truck protester?

I’ve repeatedly said that there is no legitimate reason for a government to curtail use of cash, let alone abolish it. Anyone moving in this direction is a criminal. If it dies out because it’s inconvenient, that’s our collective hard luck. But having the possibility of anonymous cash transactions ended will inevitably lead to tyranny.

I highly moving to an all-cash existence for all transactions for which this is still possible.

That it’s legal for a bank to withdraw online access to your own, modest sums of money, leaving you no recourse, is frankly very scary.
