Why Are The Violent Protesters Allowed Free Speech in Our Country?

First, let's be clear, setting vehicles on fire is not free speech - it is arson. Arson of any kind is a felony and subject to 1-20 years in prison. Secondly, Mahmoud Khalil is not a US citizen, therefore his true bodily harm and threats to citizens of Israel are not protected under free speech under US Constitution.
