Understanding Timing Delays in the Bible Can Affect our Understanding of the Character of God.

This short study touches on these events:
• now go and smite Amalek
• in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die
• there shall no man see me, and live
• then shall the sanctuary be cleansed
• to be carnally minded is death
• they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years
• then Jesus six days before the passover
• changed into the same image
• shall surely be put to death

In our western culture, we tend to think very chronologically. They didn't so much in Bible times. There are a number of examples of descriptions that are out of order or have been translated in the wrong tense (such as present tense when the context shows that it should be past tense.
