At his mansion, Ricardo Diaz, furious over a malfunctioning VCR, shoots it in frustration just as Tommy Vercetti arrives. Brushing it off, Diaz gives Tommy a new job—race to a smuggler’s yacht and secure the cargo before any competitors do. At the mansion’s jetty, Lance Vance is already waiting in a Squalo. As Tommy pilots the boat, Lance provides cover, gunning down rival smugglers. Along the way, Lance questions why they’re still working for Diaz, but Tommy insists they need to gather intel before making their move. Reaching the yacht first, they take the cargo and begin the return trip. With Lance now at the helm, Tommy fends off pursuing boats, helicopters, and gunmen along the route. After a fierce shootout, they successfully deliver the goods back to Diaz. Later, Lance calls Tommy, reaffirming that they can take over the city together. Tommy, fully aware of their dangerous position, acknowledges they have no choice but to go all in.
