Dr. Carol Swain: Forced DEI policies do more harm than good

Dr. Carol Swain, former tenured professor at Vanderbilt University, describes how U.S. higher education moves forward in a post-Affirmative Action world. “Diversity, equity, and inclusion is about equity, equal results. People come in, they get the same results regardless of how hard they worked. And when colleges and universities decided they had to have a certain quota of Blacks and Hispanics and [held] down Asians and Whites, that kind of discrimination always violated the laws,” she says.
