Schumer and the democrats got played again!!

It was a simple trap.
Trump needed 60 votes in the Senate.

So the Republicans in the House passed a CR, then dared democrats in the Senate to vote against it and take the blame for the government shutdown.

The democrats knew they were trapped.
They had a closed door meeting on how to proceed, that turned into an angry shouting match.

Schumer then made a speech on the floor that they weren’t going to let the government shut down.

Why?

They fear the power DOGE will have in these agencies with no eyes on them.
And Republicans were already calling it the “Schumer Shutdown,” as Trump got ready to use his bully pulpit to bludgeon the democrats.

I hear Adam Schiff is the angry Senator mad at Schumer.
Trump just trapped them and got them to fight amongst themselves.

Trump knows the rules in Congress and he keeps using them to trap the democrats.
