Starmer: 'We have to keep pressure on Putin'

Opening the meeting of European leaders (and a few from further afield), Sir Keir Starmer emphasised the importance of keeping pressure on Vladimir Putin.

"My feeling is that sooner or later he's going to have to come to the table and engage in serious discussion," the prime minister said.

He also said Europe and its partners must be "prepared to defend any deal ourselves through a coalition of the willing".
