Christ Our Passover

“Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new batch, just as you are, still unleavened. For Christ our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed.”

The Passover Seder Meal is a deeply significant celebration, designed for everyone to enjoy and experience.

The #Haggadah, a trusted guidebook, helps us navigate through history stories telling, questions, explanations, special foods, and even a game of hide-and-seek for the kids.
Children are also part to the #Seder from start to finish.

The Seder takes place on the first night of #Passover, after sunset. Some families hold a seder on the second night of Passover.

Not all families celebrate Seder in the same uplifting way, some family speed through time while others draw it out longer to enjoy each other’s company with family and friends, enjoy sipping wine or juice.

During the Seder, we will eat special symbolic foods.
Following the retelling of Moses' role in #Exodus, freeing God's people and its parallel to Jesus' freeing our souls if we believe and #repent.

Afterwards we will enjoy the main festive meal. Wine is for special occasions to reflect on our gratitude for #Jesus.

The first cup of wine is called #Kadesh , in #Hebrew which means “make it #holy” or “make it special”.
With this first cup, we add blessings that describe Passover as a gift, a time to thank #God and to celebrate being free.

Elijah's cup at the Passover Seder table is a powerful reminder of Jesus' glorious return.

#Moses symbolized the past,
#Elijah symbolizes the future, while reminding us of God's faithfulness.

Moses and Elijah are parallel figures, representing Jesus' arrival in the past and future, inspiring hope in all believers.

They are believed to be the two witnesses who will appear before Jesus' return.

When we see the arrival of Elijah, we will know how soon the Lord's return will be, filling us with joy and anticipation. Face to face with God.
