Founder Then Flounder

Many companies haved been started by great visionaries such as Herb Kelleher of Southwest Airlines, Walt Disney and many others. Sadly, many of these companies drift when the founders leave. Southwest Airlines is now essentially being run by a management company that bought 11 percent of the company. They have dropped two free bags, choosing your seating and other great perks that have long identified Southwest Airlines. These corporatists only look at the bottom line, they don't look at what has made Southwest Airlines so great for so long. It is sad and pathetic. The same is happening at Disney. The suits now running it don't have a clue who Walt Disney was and what he believed. It has been reported that the suits are going to destroy the iconic Rivers of America in favor of a Cars ride. SO pathetic. The Rivers of America is such a part of the feeling one gets at Disney. Again, so sad and pathetic and needless. The "smart" people are destroying these two great companies. It so often happens, but could be avoided.
EWTN is still a solid Catholic media outlet, but it's not the same as when the foundress, Mother Angelica was running it.
And MLB is being run into the ground by Rob Manfred.
Many organizations have the same problems.
