Bloodroot Gospel

Cursed roots entwine the spine,
Bleeding earth through fractured time,
Veins like vines that writhe and choke,
Breathing ash through words I spoke.

Eyes that burn with mold and rust,
Dreams decayed to tainted dust,
Teeth that gnash through hymns of grief,
Rotting faith and blighted belief.

Sing the bloodroot gospel low,
Where shadows coil and phantoms grow,
Bury me in plague and sin,
Wrap my bones where rot begins.

Splintered tongues that taste like tar,
Dreams that drown where nightmares are,
Flesh like clay in wretched hands,
Burning roots through cursed lands.

Graves that hum with guttural pain,
Worms that weave through bloodstained rain,
Echoed cries through hollowed bark,
Calling fate from tombs so dark.

Sing the bloodroot gospel low,
Where shadows coil and phantoms grow,
Bury me in plague and sin,
Wrap my bones where rot begins.

Rotten petals bloom from skin,
Thorns that bite and pierce within,
Crimson vines through marrow crawl,
Binding fate to the graveyard call.

Sing me through the crimson blight,
Drown me in that funeral light,
Bloodroot gospel in my soul,
Curse me where the shadows toll.
