Hexed Hymn

Crooked mirrors hum your name,
Fractured glass that bleeds the same,
Shadowed dolls with hollow eyes,
Weave their curse in lullabies.

Bones that grind like rusted gears,
Flesh that dreams in spite of years,
Fingers scrape on coffin wood,
Where light once lived, but never could.

Hexed hymn of the broken soul,
Whispered lies where nightmares grow,
Bleed through roots where corpses lay,
Sing the rot and fade away.

Moonlight drips like burning tar,
Ravens hum where lost souls are,
Skins that crack like shattered clay,
Voices rot and words decay.

Tears of soil and lips of stone,
Speak of pain in aching tone,
Rotten vines entwine the throat,
Choke the song the dead men wrote.

In cursed dreams where death entwined.
