12 Days Hiking to Everest Base Camp (I got sick)

A lot of firsts for me on this one. It was my first international trip and man was it an experience. I met up with a stranger from instagram and hiked to 5,364m //17,598ft to reach the base of the tallest mountain in the world. We experienced heat, sunburns, rain and snow. We went without a shower for 10 days and no running water for part of it. I fought altitude sickness and still managed to come home with khumbu cough and a stomach virus.
