Exclusive: Romanian Presidential Frontrunner Taking on "Globalists"

Romania has become the focus of Europe and the world as its unfolding presidential election has been anything but normal. George Simion, the new frontrunner presidential candidate, told The Liberty Sentinel in an exclusive interview that he is determined to defeat the "Deep State" and "globalist" forces that seek to crush the will of the people.

Last month, The Liberty Sentinel's Alex Newman interviewed Simion after Călin Georgescu, who won the “annulled” Romanian presidential election, was detained by the Romanian regime along with other Romanian patriots in a “coup d’état,” as Simion described.

Now, Georgescu has been barred from running again for the presidency. Simion, a member of parliament and the leader of the AUR, the country's second-largest political party, has thrown his hat in the ring to run for the presidency and fill Georgescu's shoes. With plans to carry out a Trump-like agenda, Simion said he expects to face the same political persecution as President Trump and then-candidate Georgescu but is confident freedom and democracy will prevail.
