Ducks On The Ocean

A bunch of ducks float around in the ocean waters, as the waves rise and fall underneath them.

This was a difficult Blender project for me to create. But from it, I learned how to simulate an ocean, and how to make object float around in it. The only two things I could not solve were one, how to multiply many random placed ducks across the ocean waves, all moving individually, and two, how to prevent the ducks to have jitters when the high waves hit them. On this project, I had to create each duck separately, which was quite a pain.

I might later on try and simulate a multitude of ducks streaming down a river, but this project took up a lot of time, and came with lots of frustration as well, so we'll see.

This animation was completed on March 17th, 2025, using Blender 4.2.0, and edited using CapCut 4.6.0 ( 30,000 Kbps ).
