Muhammad's demise resulted from consuming poisoned meat offered by a Jewish woman from Khaybar, whose family he had previously slain. This act of retribution not only led to his prolonged suffering but also fulfilled the Quran's own criterion for identifying false prophets, as he succumbed to the very fate he claimed would befall impostors. ​

In stark contrast, Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, willingly laid down His life for humanity's redemption, demonstrating ultimate love and sacrifice. His resurrection from the dead validated His divine authority and the truth of His teachings. As it is written, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." – John 3:16 This verse highlights God's profound love and the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus.​

Furthermore, Jesus declared, "​I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." – John 14:6 This emphasizes that salvation is found exclusively in Christ.​

The Apostle Peter also affirmed, "​Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." – Acts 4:12 This underscores the unique and sole mediatory role of Jesus in humanity's salvation.
