World No. 2 Rory McIlroy is hoping to recreate some magic at in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. McIlroy, winner of this year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, captured the THE PLAYERS in 2019, but has had a bit of a mixed bag at TPC Sawgrass since then. With over 75 yards added, THE PLAYERS will be decided over the 7,352 yards that THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass has to offer. Alongside last week's Arnold Palmer Invitational winner Russell Henley, other notable players in the field include Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Åberg, Hideki Matsuyama, Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler with a total of 48 of the world’s top 50 playing in this year's event.
