Falun Gong, Epoch Times and Conservatives

Falun Gong originates from China and was founded by Li Hongzhi in the early 1990s. One of their recruiting tools is Shen Yun, which is portrayed as “Classical Chinese Dance.” The group also founded the Epoch Times, which was well embraced by many Conservatives. However, many are unaware of the connection between these endeavors and the new religious group behind them, Falun Gong. Are conservatives inadvertently financing and advancing the cause of a religious cult?
