Team Profiles: Set G Episode 3 | Kyogre Raikou

Episode 3 of Team Profiles: Set G will be about Kyogre and Raikou.

Kyogre is a Legendary Pokemon that came out in Ruby And Sapphire. With a very high stat line across the board, Kyogre still needs support to compensate for its lack of stats in some areas, making it a midrange Pokemon. To compensate for this in Set G, I run it with Iron Valiant and Gyarados to control speed and Attack and Special Attack.

Raikou is the veritable mother of the team, with Gyarados and Iron Valiant being the brother and sister of the team. Raikou's job is to sweep after Gyarados and Iron Valiant have set up the board for it.

This team is very effective in Set G as it has very good pivot slots that can fulfill roles for matchups that it may autolose, like tailwind Miraidon.
