Even Shiva Gets the Blues ~ Shunyamurti Question and Answer

The Real is a circular river, flowing into its own source. Carried in the stream are little fixed structures made of the same energy, called bubbles. Each one is an I-thought. Each feels separate, different, toxic, as if cut off from the life of the fresh flowing force of clear waves. When the stream falls into the abyss, as if swallowed by the eternally unmanifest source—called Shiva—all the blue bubbles pop into oblivion. The river of consciousness emerges again, as a bright effulgent Presence. The flow is both time and eternity, a single Whole and a multiplicity of effervescent bubbles foaming on the surface, as if momentarily real.
