🏌️‍♂️ Mastering the Short Game: The Key Skills for Chipping & Pitching ⛳

Hey GolfCask members! Brian Bailey here—Mother Nature had other plans for me this week, so we’re working from Studio Day Bailey (a.k.a. my backyard hitting net)! Today, we’re diving into the essential skill sets for a great short game—not just individual shots, but the mechanics that allow you to hit ANY shot when needed.

What You’ll Learn in This Video:
✅ Low Point Control – Understanding where the club bottoms out for crisp contact
✅ Entry Point (Swing Arc Height) – Managing where the club enters the turf
✅ Path Control – Striking toe, heel, or center for better shot shaping
✅ Face Control – Learning to shape shots left, right, and center
✅ Distance & Speed Control – Mastering different lengths and speeds
✅ Loft Control – Hitting high, medium, or low shots effortlessly

Drills to Improve Your Short Game:
🔹 T-Rex Drill – Train your torso for better motion and consistency
🔹 One-Handed Trail Arm Drill – Learn to let your body control the club
🔹 Entry Point & Low Point Games – Experiment with different contact points for better adaptability

This isn’t about a “perfect model swing”—it’s about developing real skills to shape your game. Train the skills, not just isolated shots, and watch your short game transform.

If this helped, drop a comment, let me know what clicked (or what didn’t!), and tell me what skills you’d like to dive into next! More drills & insights coming soon—hopefully from the golf course!

⛳ Cheers & happy practicing! 🥃🏌️‍♂️ #ShortGameMastery #GolfCask #ChippingSkills #GolfTraining
