Jeremiah 9 & 10 – Intentionally not following Torah; we are intentionally refusing to know Him. 2017

Jer 9:4
"Let everyone be on guard against his neighbor, And do not trust any brother; Because every brother deals craftily, And every neighbor goes about as a slanderer.

Jer 9:5
"And everyone deceives his neighbor, And does not speak the truth, They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves committing iniquity.

Jer 9:6
"Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me," declares the LORD.

If we intentionally do not follow His Torah, we are intentionally refusing to know Him. When that happens, He will judge the people and they will perish.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
