When Parenting Gets Tough

Police officers responded to 230 E. Lemon Ave., Apartment 3, in reference to a verbal altercation involving a mom and her son.

Upon arrival, the female subject advised that they were in an argument and he punched the stove and broke the glass top. She invited the officers inside to look at the damaged stove. Upon her opening the door, her son exited the residence and attempted to shut the door behind him. He grabbed a white rock like substance that appeared to be an illegal narcotic, and began to walk to the back of the residence. The officers gave multiple commands for him to stop.
