Using Mobile Phone Chest Mount as an ActionCam - SJCAM SJ6 Legend

My actioncam is in need of repair so in lieu of it, I tried using a Samsung A23 mounted to my chest through a garter strapped to my body. I am checking if this setup is a sufficient alternative to my actioncam. One advantage is that the chest strap and phone is less expensive since I already have my phone and the chest strap is dirt cheap (around 3-4 US dollars).
